I am sure many of you are familiar with Troy Yokum's hike across America with a goal to raise $5 million to assist military families in need.

He has something extra special planned:

Troy will host a Barefoot Hike for Heroes one-mile group walk to set a new Guinness World Record in Phoenix, AZ on Dec. 4th

Also:

All ages are welcome to participate in the one-mile barefoot walk--no skateboards, rollerblades or bicycles are allowed on the course. Special t-shirts and other merchandise will be sold at the event, and an autograph session with Troy and his crew will take place after the walk. All donations will be accepted on the day of the event.

So, if you find yourself in the Phoenix area on Saturday, December 4th, consider registering to walk - BAREFOOT! - with Troy, all for a good cause. Even if you can't make the walk in person, you can "Shadow Walk".
